EXAMINATIONS
Take3 Theatre School recognises the importance of formal study for its students, many of whom wish to go on to further studies in the performing arts on leaving school. As a result, from September 2008, the new school structure will be geared towards the study of the LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) syllabus for the acting classes. Entry for the examinations is not compulsory, however, it is felt that by following a formal syllabus, students, whether they choose to enter for the examinations or not will receive a well structured education in acting and dramatic arts generally. The school will become a LAMDA examination centre for those students who do wish to enter for the examinations. Take3 is also looking at the possibility of tying up with a local College of Education in order to provide courses geared for those wishing to go on with further academic study of the Performing Arts. This may replace our original intentions to follow LAMDA. Watch this space.........
We anticipate that an examination syllabus for Musical Theatre will be introduced in due course.
