Jacqui Dempster - Principal is a qualified Solicitor and until recently ran her own employment law consultancy. Taking a change in direction to allow her more time to devote to Take3, she recently sold her business and is now a lecturer in law both at Stevenson College and for the Open University. Her first novel, "Charon's Children" was published in January 2008. She found her own interest in the dramatic arts whilst at University. She subsequently attended theatre school in Middlesbrough where she received training in musical and dramatic arts, latterly undertaking further performing arts studies at Lauder College and currently at the Royal ScottishAcademy of Music and Drama in Glasgow. Jacqui teaches acting in the schools and is responsible for business development, marketing, advertising, legal matters and day to day management of the school.
Katie Simon – Dance Tutor Katie graduated from Edinburgh’s Telford College in 2004 with a BA (Hons) in dance and has appeared in many shows with her own dance company, Nova Reflections, the Traverse Theatre, Impresario Productions Ltd and Fly Right Performing Company. She is a well known and popular dance teacher in Fife where she has been teaching since 2002 and has choreographed many amateur productions. Katie brings a unique and exciting dynamic to the dance tuition in Take3 and brings a wide variety of dance styles and genres to her classes.
Agnes won a scholarship to study with Lyndon van der Pump in London subsequently returning to Dunfermline to teach singing and to work with various amateur operatics companies. She is now the Education Co-ordinator at Kirkgate in Cupar where she works with children who have emotional and behavioural difficulties. BIOGRAPHIES COMING SOON..... Agnes Smith – Singing Tutor Agnes trained at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music & Drama and was the only singer to be offered Postgraduate Study. She studied various operatic roles and helped to establish The Opera School with Leonard Hancock and David Frame.
